These are the most beautiful crayons made by Filana, a small family-owned business, tucked into a perfect Spiral Books paper box. Each crayon is hand-poured in small batches with organic beeswax, free of petroleum-based paraffin wax and synthetic dyes, and manufactured in a small factory in rural Western Colorado. The color pairings are quirky and unexpected, and the crayons themselves are smooth and sturdy. On the box, you'll find a long list of animals, — but something is different. Blue horses? Yellow whales? Nothing is quite as it should be, and that's the beauty of it.
