In Redwoods, Jason Chin folds an astonishing lesson about one of nature's most magnificent ecosystems into an adventure that begins, quietly and magically, on a subway platform. The illustrations are lush and immersive, and the science is as incredible as the trees themselves. A perfect gift for the endlessly curious child.
