Harriet was my idol growing up. She was opinionated and observant and unafraid. As a character, she was flawed and fallible, a radical thing for a children's book protagonist in the 60s. This anniversary edition reproduced the stunning, original cover — black and white with two pops of color. A beautiful edition of a bold, timeless story.
