Little Witch Hazel

If I could live in the world of a book, it would be Little Witch Hazel, land of kind gnomes and fairies and frogs in red-and-white striped boatneck shirts. Phoebe Wahl's illustrations, made with watercolor, gouache, and colored pencils, make every page feel alive, dense with moss and mushrooms and magic. Her words do the same. They're full in the way the forest is full, layered and warm and teaming with life.
