First published in 1958, this is the book that started it all for Snoopy — the first collection to put him front and center, at a time when he was still finding his way from ensemble player to the cultural icon he would eventually become. The strips here are black and white and drawn from the early years of the strip. I love this particular edition, a facsimile of the original.
