A child runs a race, crosses the finish line, and keeps going. Through the city, past a farm, into the forest, and eventually back to where he started. Taro Gomi doesn’t give him a reason, and he doesn’t need one. The pleasure is in the going, and in turning the page to see where he ends up next.

For ages 0-3.
