My Friends

My Friends is one of my favorite board books from my own kids' baby years, and I love to gift it to new parents. Taro Gomi's genius is in noticing what children know instinctively — that we're always learning from everything around us. I love its sweetness and simplicity and the way it affirms our connection to nature and to each other.
