This fantastical, funny adventure about a little girl who finds herself in an enormous kitchen and is cooked into a dumpling is a shop favorite for good reason — Fang is doing something really magical in picture books right now, blending humor and imagination in a way that captivates my three-year-old and kindergartener alike. Her illustrations — first done with pencil and then colored digitally — are full of energy and personality.
